Knafs
In 2018, we—Ben and Athena Petersen—started dreaming up wild ideas, asking, "What if?" and "Why not?" After years in the knife industry at Blade HQ and CRKT, Ben had a head full of product ideas that wouldn't rest. So, we took a leap—designing, making, and launching Knafs. It started with a knife poster, a business license, and a fire extinguisher (a must-have for any garage startup, amigo!). We rolled 1,000 posters by hand, wondering if they’d sell or just gather dust. But you bought them—thank you! That validation fueled more ideas, and what started as a side hustle turned full-time in May 2022.
