Meet the Instructors of the 2024 Georgia Bushcraft Gathering

This group of instructors represents hundreds of years of experience across a wide range of skills related to bushcraft, survival, and self-reliance. And it's worth noting that these are the folks who live it, teach it, and carry a passion for sharing their knowledge.
Carleigh Fairchild
Having uncovered the profound connection between nature and human well-being during her 86 days ALONE in Patagonia, Carleigh now leads guided retreats, custom experiences, and one-on-one coaching sessions. Jack Genega
Jacks is no stranger to Georgia Bushcraft. Her weekend long classes are always well received and she often teaches to return students. It's obvious that she has a passion for bushcraft and survival and a knack for teaching these skills. At the Gathering be sure to check out one or more of her classes. She'll be teaching "Flint and Steel: Not Just for Char" and "Making Roman Concrete and the Many Uses of Wood Ash."
Jonathan Burton
Jonathan Burton is a skilled outdoorsman, brand ambassador, wilderness skills instructor, a musician, and talented craftsman. At the 2024 Fall Gathering he'll be teaching "Core Temperature Control: The Most Important Survival Skill" and "Hacking the Hand Drill: Finding Success in Fire" plus he'll have carvings and handmade items for sale in the exhibitor area.
Craig Caudill
Craig is a lifetime outdoorsman and talented in many disciplines. He's also a well-respected instructor and author. His insight into tracking, survival, plant ID, and more is not to be missed. We're happy to have him join us for another GABC Gathering, and he'll be teaching "Sourcing Materials for Bushcraft," "Tree ID for Bushcraft," and more.
