Casey Deming is the co-founder and owner of Georgia Bushcraft. With a lifelong passion for wilderness skills, Casey has helped create a space where families, instructors, and product makers come together to learn, share, and grow. His mission is to make outdoor knowledge more accessible and inspire others to live more self-reliantly and intentionally.
Jessica Deming / Co-Founder & Youth Program Director
Jessica Deming is a co-founder of Georgia Bushcraft and plays a vital role in organizing youth classes and family-focused workshops. With a background in education and a passion for outdoor learning, Jessica helps create engaging, hands-on experiences that inspire the next generation of explorers. Her dedication to building a welcoming, family-friendly environment is at the heart of Georgia Bushcraft’s mission to reconnect people of all ages with nature.
Mathew Gillenwater /
Known as “The Voice of Georgia Bushcraft,” Mathew Gillenwater brings energy, humor, and heart to every event. As the Community Engagement Director, Mathew leads our raffles, coordinates with exhibitors and sponsors, and manages the dedicated crew of volunteers who help make it all happen. His passion for people and talent for creating memorable moments have become a cornerstone of the Georgia Bushcraft experience—both behind the scenes and on the mic.
